Postby Grannygood » Sun Oct 23, 2005 2:54 pm

Hi I am new around here. I developed neuropathy in my hands and feet and one side of my face. I have been off lovastatin for 10 days, the numbness has left my face but, it just comes and goes in my hands and feet just don't work at all, they feel like I have cement shoes on. Grannygood

Granny's peripheral neuropathy

Granny, read my neuropathy paper on www.spacedoc.net for more background. Statin induced neuropathy is particularly hard to treat in old folks and diabetics. CoQ10 is the only thing that has any benefit and the doses are "the higher the better". I tell people with this condition to take "all they can afford". There are no other options and don't waste your time and money needlessly. Duane
