I HAVE BEEN TAKING VYTORIN FOR 5 MONTHS NOW.
I HAVE DONE THE BLOOD WORK EVERY MONTH FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS.
ALL OF A SUDDEN MY DR'S NURSE CALLS AND SAYS STOP TAKING THE VYTORIN NOW AND COME IN 2 WEEKS FOR ANOTHER BLOOD TEST
I ASKED WHAT WAS GOING ON AND SHE SAID MY LIVER ENZYMES WERE TO HIGH
THIS IS WHAT PAPERS I GOT FROM THE LAB
BILIRUBIN TOTAL 0.8
BELIRUBIN DIRECT O.2
PROTEIN TOTAL 8.1
ALBUMIN TOTAL 4.9
ALT (SGPT 74
AST (SGOT 45
LIKE ANY NORMAL PERSON WHO ISN'T A DR WOULD UNDERSTAND ANY OF THIS
COULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN IN ENGLISH TO ME ON WHAT GOING ON

These are the levels that caused your doctor to stop your Vytorin.
AST (SGOT) 45
ALT (SGPT) 74

The normal range of values for AST (SGOT) is from 5 to 40 units per liter
of serum (the liquid part of the blood).

The normal range of values for ALT (SGPT) is from 7 to 56 units per liter
of serum.
