A little history: I took Lipitor for over 5 years and weaned myself off it due to numerous side effects. I resorted to a variety of supplements (niacin, C, policosanol, the three B's, CoQ10, L-Carnitine, plus a few I can't recall right now). No matter because that isn't the reason I'm offering new information and this time it's Vytorin.

I've been on Vytorin for 4 mos. and here are the side effects I'm having and all of them I had with Lipitor.

Weak knees all the time but occasionally give way

Sporadic

Leg muscle aches
small of back aches
Fatigue

My doctor told me to quit (at once) and resume in one month. Now, I'm tapering myself off again and have zero plans to restart. Just thought I'd share because of the effects.
