I took Vytorin 80mg for 6 days, that was enough. Within 24hrs I started having chest discomfort- then the migraine headaches came, they were so severe, the the cramps in my calf legs.

I called the Dr, he said to keep taking my medicine, I would feel this way until my body got use to it. I had previously taken Zocor 40mg for the last 5 years, so I went back on it.

Tks to this website, I never knew the dangers, but certainly have had so many of the side effects, I am now weaning myself off the Zocor too, and am going with supplements.

My Cholesterol was 170, LDL>110, HDH>49, TRI>80...I still havent figured out why he changed me from 40mg Zocor to 80 Vitorin.
