BMJ article of interest to those of us with FH

Apologies if this has been previously presented here.

This thorough Dutch study may support the hypothesis that FH only becomes dangerous if/when the epiphelium is damaged and may have conferred survival advantage in the past :

Hi Brian,

Read the rapid responses at this link:

Evidence that a high cholesterol does not cause atherosclerosis by Uffe Ravnskov and The rise and fall of heart disease by Jörgen Vesti-Nielsen.

Hi Fran. For some reason I have been unable to print the responses, other than the first by Staganario, on my computer. However I have sent the URL of the article to both my GP and to my endocrinologist who are both keenly interested in uncovering the truth (I receive chelation therapy from my endocrinologist to decalcify my plaques) and so are very supportive.
I have been on statins for nearly 17 years but now "the times they are a changing" thanks to Doctors Graveline, Ravnskov, Kendrick et al - and a big thank you to you Fran for all the time and effort you put into maintaining this forum, without which etc.
Best wishes

Brian.
