Ray, thank you so much for your efforts. I actually went to the GNC store today to buy some CoQ10, but when I mentioned my hemmorhagic stroke to the manager, he said it does have blood-thinning properties (but also blood-clotting! ?) advised me not to take the CoQ until I had discussed it with my MD. So I came away empty-handed, watching my muscles waste before my eyes.

Hi Victoria:

Sorry that we can't give you the answers you need about the CoQ10 and blood clotting. I, too, live every day with the questionable diagnosis of ALS. I know how you feel. Good luck with your specialist. Keep us posted. My thoughts and good wishes are with you.

I have muscle loss in my hands as well. i think that i have muscle loss everywhere, but my doc wants to concentrate on my legs because that is the what's most important to me right now.
