My physician has said to me that I can go from 40 to 80 MG Pravachol and take it every other day instead of my current 40 MG daily. Is that safe? Or am I likely to overdose on the drug?
The drug costs the same whether one buys 40 or 80 MG. So I guess I could save by getting 80 MG and then splitting the pills but continue to take it daily. Please advise.
