Lab reviews of Coenzyme Q-10 brands.

Postby adec » Sat Apr 07, 2007 5:19 am

I have a subscription to Consumer Labs, and thought it would be valuable to share their findings. Here are the particular brands that passed their extensive lab tests. These certification results are especially encouraging and comforting as, "All of the products tested were found to contain their labeled amounts of CoQ10."

Just curious: Do they list those that don't contain they're labeled amounts? Does this test purity as well (any additives not listed)?

This is very valuable and reassuring information. I've been wondering whether the brands I've been buying were providing the claimed amounts -- turns out they are.

One question: What does the asterisk after some of the entries signify??

Bucho: those asterisks signify my laziness. :) It's supposed to represent, "*Tested through CL's Voluntary Certification Program prior to, at time of, or after initial posting of this Product Review." I tried to keep the most essential and helpful information, and edit out the rest, due to copyright. You can find a truncated version of the list, available to non-subscribers, located here.

Wake up Call: In this specific instance, every single CoQ10 supplement tested had their stated amounts. "All of the products tested were found to contain their labeled amounts of CoQ10." This is definitely very good news.
