Another interesting article...thanks adec! I am fortunate I have a doctor who is listening and is willing to accept my verdict and at the same time assist me with finding the right supplements. He does not believe in medicating every ailment.

Thanks for the Telegraph link, I didn't look until Monday and had a bit of a job to find the page, I like the title, "The deeper I go into it, the fishier it becomes".

I have sent him an encouraging Email, and my thoughts on the overwhelming power of Big Pharma on drug decisions, with links to this page, and the number of visits to "Muscle pains and statins" to give him more evidence to refute the Heart Foundation's Professor Weissburg's statement that the percentage of those having muscle damage from statins in trials is the same of that of those on placebo. at 0.5%, while a TV survey of 5,000 yielded a figure of 27%. I agree with his last remark, " The time has surely come, with such vast sums of public money at stake, for questions in the House"

More power to his elbow!!
