Brittle hair

Has anyone noticed hair breaking as a result of statin use? I keep my hair permed. Two weeks into my Crestor use, my hairdresser noticed that my hair was breaking. Now...four weeks after stopping the Crestor, the hair on the right side of my head is without a permanent and with significant hair breakage. I just started taking a nail, skin, and hair supplement to see if that improves the condition of my hair.
