Vytorin-SHINGLES

I have been taking Vytorin for 12 weeks. I began to be tired all the time and have muscle pain with in just a week. Lastly, I HAVE BROKEN OUT IN A RASH-THAT MY DOCTOR SAYS IS SHINGLES. Space Doc says my immune system status (by direct Vytorin effect) and stress of muscle discomfort allowed the virus to break through. I immediately went off the Vytorin.
Has anyone else had this problem??

my husband developed his only case of shingles about 2-3 yrs after being on Lipitor--we did not connect the immune aspects and statins then--we do now madelyn
