Statins are only one of a long list of medications shown to cause damage to mitochondria.

protect the public by identifying the most toxic medications
before they are allowed to reach the market."

Maybe one day the practice of medicine will become [i]truly[/i] science-based.

In the meantime we must just purse our lips and whistle......
