From what I read even statins don't lower this supposed indicator of cardiac risk. Does anything?

I believe it can be reduced if there is underlying hypothyroidism by treating the underlying condition.

Lp(a) can be lowered by high dose niacin, which can unfortunately have some nasty side effects such as flushing and liver issues.
