Supplement suppliers know the problem

Postby cjbrooksjc » Sat Apr 19, 2008 9:27 pm

If you ever doubt that Statin poisoning is a rare, low-level concern, you should look at how, in the last two years, our supplement suppliers have been reformulating their products. We no longer have to order three or four separate items and take them individually. The suppliers are now doing that for us to engender our custom. It's the simple rule of 'supply and demand'. There is a demand in the population for these formulations; many of which are now being referred to as 'muscle enhancers', 'nerve repair', or 'mitochondrial boosters'. Our situations are becoming well known even in oblique ways. The proof is mounting for support of a 'surge' of our own. Rant over.

Courage,

Brooks

I've started using a combined product from NSI (vitacost.com): a two-capsule serving includes 500 mg of acetyl-L-carnitine, 500 mg of propionyl-L-carnitine, and 100 mg of Q10. Very convenient.

Darrell: I don't know if you are aware, or if the cost is variable, but you can order NSI products directly at **www.gonsi.com.

Thanks for the tip, but they both have exactly the same price on the product I'm using (NSI GlycoCarn, ALC & CoQ10 -- 1100 mg 60 Capsules - $18.99).

NSI Orders

Postby pgrimm » Fri Apr 25, 2008 9:51 am

Make sure that if you order from NIS you get the little extra savings by using the source code PC82NHB at checkout. Also save when you order Q10 and carnitine together.

They send me a catalog with my order, it's on the back page. I actually had another code when I placed my order, and I got it from googling "vitacost source code"! Try to find discounts this way when you purchase anything on the internet! Wouldn't life be so different for us now without the internet?
