Unbelievable! And scandalous how Merck sat on the results! Zetia is worthless and Vytorin is worse than worthless!

There is a link to medpage today on googling ENHANCE trial (there is also a childrens' drug trial with the same name, beware). On the medpage there is an audio interview with the Dr Nissen quoted. He hasn't got much time for Vytorin, and I see elsewhere that the other drug company involved has had quite a large drop in share price.

Interesting that he says Vytorin causes a big drop in LDL, but that is not reflected in plaque reduction, it goes the other way, and he is questioning the value of prescribing Zetia (ezetimibe) at all.

Hope for the future!!!
