Hello and Happy New Year! :
I'd like to hear some member's opinions about your favorite brand of fish oil. I'm currently using Dr Dave's, which is rather pricey. Your thoughts?

Fish Oil

Postby harneyn » Tue Jan 02, 2007 4:34 pm

I bought 120 caps of 1700 mg Fish Oil at Walmart... think it was about $11.00. It is marked as purified to remove mercury, etc. The brand is Spring Valley, but I cannot find it on their website!

I watch the Sunday newpaper supplements for two for one offers at drug stores for deals also.

Found this:

I use Carlsons or Nordic Naturals...but I use the fruit flavored liquids, not capsules.

I use Carlson’s Norwegian Cod Liver Oil (lemon flavor). It’s a liquid form that’s kept refrigerated. It doesn’t have a bad taste or any after-taste. It’s also supposed to be free of mercury. It’s available in many health food stores. It was recommended by Dr. Beatrice Golomb who's conducting the Statin Side Effects Study.
