lawsuits

Postby Cathy » Sat Jul 01, 2006 11:13 pm

Thanks for the article, I hadn't heard about it. Well maybe we should be suing the Drs. I know I told mine in the begining and he said aches and pains were " old age". He always had an answer for everything, and to this day will not accept that lipitor did this to me. I feel he is just trying to cover his own butt.

Fire bad doctors- maybe sue them too

Postby bunnylady » Sun Jul 02, 2006 12:19 pm

Mine tried to put me in the sleep apnea category- and the old age category also- I am going to see if I can post a picture here of what Lipitor did to my arms- my dentist saw the bruises and told me to fire my doctor- that woke me up

Lets see if this works

Postby bunnylady » Sun Jul 02, 2006 12:41 pm

My arms started to do this about 3 months into Lipitor- by month 14 I had blood bruises about 2 inches across- I went off Lipitor and they started diminishing- doc put me back on Crestor and they started again
coincidence- NOT!

My doctor sluffed my complaints off to old age/arthritis too. When I showed him the odd swelling in my feet, he said it was a old injury... EXCUSE ME.... In both feet, in exactly the same places... I think I would have remembered that...

I think the drug companies should have to pay for every doctor visit, test, treatment and so on that was brought on by the side effects of those drugs. Maybe then they wouldn't be so quick to shove it down our throats.

Hi CatMom,

My dear 80 year old M-I-L suffered through 3 statins before they put her on Zetia. She had the "odd swelling in her feet" too and could hardly walk. She is a very active 80... powerwalks 3 times a week over hill and dale, rain or shine. Dr said she had arthritis in her feet. She stopped the Zetia (at my urging) and the "arthritis" disappeared.
