I see people on this board recommending all kinds of supplements for your heart but no one seems to recommend Vitamin C. How come? Did you know that Vitamin C strengthens your arteries and keeps them from rupturing???
In fact, there are a number to supplements to take for your heart besides CoQ10 and Carnitine. Vit C, magnesium citrate, Vit E mixed tocopherols, Vit B complex.

Vitamin C is the obvious suggestion. But I cannot think of a single person on this board who wouldn't/hasn't recommend it... especially in combination with lysine and proline. Though it definitely bares repeating all the same.

In fact, without ascorbic acid (along with many B vitamins) there would be no natural production of CoQ10 within the human body. Vitamin C (along with magnesium) are sometimes considered nature's own statin, as they both can act as a HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors. Many people don't realize this. Except both ascorbic acid and magnesium are incredibly safe in comparison to the statin class of pharmaceuticals.
