Crestor then Ezetroll and then problems

Hi, I would like to know if anyone else has ever experienced this.
I was on Crestor for two years and blamed the muscle aches on my
shoes or anything else I could think of but never on the Crestor. After
doing some research when I finally got a computer, I quit taking the
drug and my DR. had me take Ezetroll which in turn caused the same
problems and an added problem and I,m not sure what happened.
In Sept. I did eat spinach that later was stated to have ecoli, at the
same time, the muscle pain was bad enough to cause me to fall. The
day after eating the spinach and having had a fall, my stomach hurt
badly and as time went on the bowels were not working as they should.
It got to the point that I was passing just clear mucus. This went on
for some time and then I quit taking the Ezetroll and within a few days,
the bowels were back to near normal and there is no show of blood
as there had been earlier.

Any comments would be much appreciated.

Like you, I never associalted my added list of problems with the statin I was on. I worked to hard, I am getting older, I ate the wrong thing, I stood up to long and the excuses added up. The one thing that puzzeled me was I never heard my mother complain about ANY of these things as she was growing old and believe me, she would have! (and neither did my older brother and sister)

I had gastric problems, bloating, indigestion, burping, acid reflux and having such a sensitive colon, I am amazed I didn't have the symptoms you had along with all the rest. The longer I was on the statin, the more effects I had and the worse they got until I had enough when the memory problems started and began investigating. I was alarmed at what I found and I am madder than a wet hen at what I have been through and could get NO help from my docotr except for more Rx's!!!
